Dr. K. Sivabalaji currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Shalakya Tantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri. He completed his under graduation from Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College, Chennai, in 2009 and post graduation from S.D.M College of Ayurveda, Hassan, in 2013. He was the university topper-Silver Medalist in under graduation, awarded Ayurvisharada in 2009 from Himalaya Drug Company, Best outgoing student award in 2009. Dr. Sivabalaji received the best paper at Amrita Samyogam – International seminar on Integrative Medicine, August 2017, held at Kochi. Received best paper award at World Ayurveda congress December 2018 held at Ahmedabad. He had presented many papers at national and international conferences. He has conducted hands-on training at various colleges on Shalakya kriya Kalpa. He is a recognized PG guide. He also holds the position of managing editor for the Amritavabhodini newsletter – Bi-monthly magazine of Amrita School of Ayurveda.
