He currently serves as Associate Professor, Dept of Shalyatantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda. He completed his B.A.M.S from prestigious SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi in 2008, and M.S.(Ayurveda) from Muniyal Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences, Manipal in 2014. He joined Poomulli Narayanan Namboothiripad Memorial Ayurveda Medical College soon after completing his M.S. and worked till 2021 in the department of Shalyatantra, he has more than 7 years of Under Graduate teaching experience and 5 years of Post Graduate teaching experience. He has also worked as Lecturer on contract at Dept of Shalakyatantra, Govt Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram for 1 ½ years commencing from 2008.
He hails from a reputed traditional Ayurveda family of Ayurveda Vaidyas based in Thiruvananthapuram wherein he is the 4th generation dedicated to Ayurveda.
His areas of interest are management of — ano-rectal diseases, low back ache, spine disorders, Arthritis, sports injuries (Knee joint injuries especially), fracture-dislocations, varicose vein, and wound/ulcers etc.

Management of Ano-Rectal Diseses and use of Ayurveda parasurgical measures
He has successfully performed more than 500 anorectal surgeries varying from ksharasutra therapy for fistula-in-ano and pilonidal sinuses, and other surgeries like haemorrhoidal ksharasutra ligation, Agnikarma-dilatation for fissure-in-ano,superficial internal sphinterotomy using ksharasutra for fissure-in-ano. Etc. He has also performed more than 1000 parasurgical and minor procedures varying from corn excision and kshara application, cyst removal etc.He has conducted hands on training in anorectal ayurveda surgical management for doctors at different hospitals in Thrissur and Palakkad.
Management of sports injuries, spine and joint disorders using traditional marma manipulations and bandages
He is also very well versed in management of fractures and dislocations with indigenous ayurveda traditional techniques of bandaging and fracture reduction. He is well known for his marma manipulative techniques for the management different joint ailments ranging from spinal disorders like low back ache, cervical pain, scoliosis etc. He has special interest in the area of sports injuries wherein an intergrated apporoach is adopted incorporating physiotherapy and Ayurveda traditional bandaging techniques.
