Dr. Haritha Chandran has completed her BAMS from Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam and pursued post graduation from SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan, Karnataka. Her post-graduation thesis was on the topic ‟An Ayurgenomic study on the role of Geo- Climatic factors on Prakrutiˮ under the sponsorship and funding from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Bio-technology,Trivandrum. After completion of her post-graduation she joined as Asst. Professor in department of basic principles at Govt. Ayurveda College, Trivandrum and served around one year. Thereafter she joined as Assistant Professor at Amrita School of Ayurveda. She has conducted health awareness classes and delivered public speeches in communities and in schools. Dr. Haritha has delivered talks on Amrita Tv channel, Jeevadhara programme to create awareness among the public about Ayurveda and its health care. She has an interest in literature, fine arts and a regular member of the judging panel in the cultural events.
