Dr. Durgalakshmi S., Assistant Professor in the Department of Roga Nidana, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri, under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. She has completed BAMS in May 2005 from KVG Ayurveda Medical College, Sullia under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Banglore, pursued Post graduation in Roga Nidana in October 2015 from SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Banglore and pursued a Diploma In Yoga “Yoga Shiromani” awarded by International Shivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. She has presented a paper on ‘Role of Culture & Sensitivity in Ayurveda’ at the International Seminar conducted by Global Ayurveda Festival 2014. She has been in the field of Clinical Practice as M.O for about 2 years in Sree Sankara Ayurveda Hospital, Changanachery, Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Agency, Pathanamthitta and Vasudeva Vilasom Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. She is in the field of teaching Undergraduate students for about four years in various departments.
